Working in Gambia

The Gambia has an economy built on agriculture and tourism. The main exports are peanuts and fish, with 60% of all exports heading to China. The economy continues to develop and as a member of ECOWAS they have strong links within the region.

Why work in Gambia?

The Gambia can be a challenging place to relocate for work. The main industry is agriculture, though tourism also offers opportunities. Taxation is generally comparable to the rest of the region. Healthcare and education systems are underdeveloped and anyone working in the Gambia should explore private alternatives.
